BMW and Mini Showroom

A dialogue between clear architectural elements and dynamic performance

"We aimed to design spaces that meet practical needs but also become an integral part of the client’s identity, fostering a seamless relationship between architecture and experience.”

Sonja Berthold, principal and founder

The design of the BMW and Mini dealership in Zurich-Süd is a delicate balance between elegance and functionality. A composition of white horizontal layers juxtaposed against a sleek black volume creates a minimalist yet striking architectural form, a reflection of BMW’s commitment to precision and innovation. As one of the largest dealerships in Switzerland, this project does more than meet expectations—it sets a new standard for immersive brand experiences.

The architecture becomes a statement for BMW’s forward-thinking vision, seamlessly integrating the latest automotive technologies with clear, simple architectural elements. It serves not just as a showroom but as a cultural and experiential space, reinforcing the global identity of the brand.

The generous, light-filled interiors, crafted from high-quality materials, mirror the company's ethos of refinement and performance, offering an intuitive flow from arrival at the workshop to new vehicle delivery.

Certified to Minergie standards, the project reflects a commitment to sustainability while maintaining operational excellence. Here, architecture and automotive engineering merge effortlessly, transforming the customer’s journey into an experience of precision, dynamism, and sophistication - an extension of BMW’s philosophy and its long-standing relationship with innovative design.
