Layers of Light and Nature
A gallery space that invites interaction between art, nature, and the urban landscape.“This gallery is an exploration of transparency and layers, where art, nature, and the city coexist seamlessly.”
Sonja Berthold, principal and founder
The Madrid gallery for photography creates a seamless dialogue between public, artistic, and natural realms. Its transparent ground floor offers an open and inviting presence, connecting the city with the photographic exhibits within. Large glass facades dissolve boundaries, allowing passersby to glimpse the artwork while encouraging fluid interaction between interior and exterior spaces.
Above, the roof garden presents a serene retreat, carefully planted with trees and bushes. This green oasis provides a contemplative space that complements the photographic medium, balancing the vibrancy of the city with moments of reflection.
Integrating themes of light, transparency, and nature, ensuring that the building becomes more than a gallery—it transforms into a layered experience of visual and sensory engagement.
