Hybrid Living and Working Space
A visionary model for collective creativity and individual balance“Architecture is no longer a backdrop for living; it embodies life itself, blending work, leisure, and community into a unified experience.”
Sonja Berthold, principal and founder
This project envisions a revolutionary typology where the line between living and working dissolves into a seamless spatial experience. Inspired by the principles of openness and adaptability, these hybrid spaces redefine the modern relationship between function and inspiration. At its heart is a light-filled communal atrium - an architectural mediator that bridges the personal and collective, the professional and recreational. Natural materials such as concrete, glass, and timber are juxtaposed with lush greenery, creating an environment that fosters interaction, creativity, and moments of introspection.
The design emphasises flexibility, offering shared facilities and adaptable zones that accommodate evolving work-life patterns. Spaces for collaboration coexist with quieter areas for reflection, capturing the diversity and complexity of contemporary working lives. More than a workplace or a home, it is an architectural statement on belonging and purpose in the 21st century.
