The Evian Flagship Spa is conceived as a spatial embodiment of Evian’s core values: purity, health, and environmental responsibility. Much like the natural journey of Evian water through the French Alps, this spa mirrors the fluid, transformative qualities of water as it filters through rock, evolving over time into something both pure and elemental. The architecture draws from these principles, creating an experience that is simultaneously serene and dynamic, blending natural elements with refined design.
The form of the architecture's channels the essence of water, moving like a river through a snowy landscape. Spaces flow into one another with fluidity, mirroring water's constant movement. Horizontal louvres cover the walls, softening light and creating a visual language that shifts with the time of day, transitioning from warm sunrise hues to cool midday tones, and finally, the softer glow of sunset.
Guests will navigate a sequence of interconnected, sculptural spaces – some wide and expansive, others intimate and narrow – all united by a continuous white marble floor that curves gently through the spa. The subtle interplay between liquid and solid, openness and enclosure, is intended to promote tranquillity and renewal, mirroring the refreshing, purifying qualities of Evian water itself.
